Summary: Register of Wage Determinations Under the Service Contract Act
This is a wage determination document issued by the U.S. Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration Wage and Hour Division for service contracts in Texas Counties of Callahan, Jones, and Taylor (Wage Determination No. 2015-5211, Revision 32, effective 12/03/2025).
The document establishes prevailing wage rates for service contract employees across 99 occupation codes spanning multiple industries including administrative support, automotive service, food preparation, furniture maintenance, general services, health occupations, information technology, instructional positions, materials handling, mechanics and maintenance, protective services, recreation, stevedoring, technical occupations, and transportation operations. Wage rates range from $10.89 per hour (e.g., Assembler) to $50.74 per hour (e.g., Nuclear Medicine Technologist). All occupations receive fringe benefits of $5.55 per hour (up to 40 hours weekly, $222.00 per week, or $962.00 per month) plus specific health and welfare benefits under Executive Order 13706. Employees are entitled to two weeks paid vacation after one year of service, three weeks after eight years, and four weeks after 15 years, plus a minimum of eleven paid holidays annually. Special provisions apply to computer professionals (footnote 1) requiring demonstrated primary duties meeting specific compensation thresholds and skill levels; air traffic controllers and weather observers (footnote 2) receive night and Sunday pay differentials. Hazardous pay differentials of eight percent and four percent apply to employees working with ordnance and explosives. Uniform allowances and maintenance costs are reimbursed at $3.35 per week ($0.67 daily) unless uniforms require only routine washing. The determination incorporates the Service Contract Act Directory of Occupations (Fifth Edition, Revision 1) and includes procedures for contractors to request authorization of additional classifications using Standard Form 1444.
