About this file
This document outlines SF-424B submission requirements for federal grant applicants based on their SAM.gov registration status.
Applicants with active SAM.gov registrations created or updated on or after February 2, 2019, are not required to submit the SF-424B form. These applicants will complete representations and certifications directly within SAM.gov during the registration process. Grant Officers and Grants Officers Representatives (GOs/GORs) must verify applicant agreement by checking the "Grants Certifications" section on the Entity Registration page within the Entity Dashboard. If needed, applicants can print their certifications by accessing the "Reps and Certs" menu and selecting the "Federal Assistance Certifications Report."
Applicants with active SAM.gov registrations created or updated before February 2, 2019, must submit the SF-424B form, as they were not prompted to complete representations and certifications within SAM.gov. These applicants will be required to complete certifications during their next annual registration update prior to February 2, 2020, and will show no answer next to the Grants Certifications question in SAM.gov. Additionally, applicants who are not registered in SAM.gov but have been granted a UEI/SAM.gov Exemption are not required to submit the SF-424B form.
