About this file
This is a pricing schedule template for construction proposals submitted to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for Project 626-25-101, Upgrade Critical Environments I (Solicitation Number 36C24926R0049). The template provides a detailed line-item breakdown structure organized by the MasterFormat divisions system, requiring contractors to itemize labor, material, and equipment costs across all applicable construction categories including general requirements, demolition, concrete, masonry, metals, carpentry, thermal protection, openings, finishes, specialties, furnishings, fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, communications, electronic safety and security, and exterior improvements. Each division must be listed regardless of applicability to the project.
The template establishes mandatory pricing submission requirements for all proposals: contractors must provide complete cost breakdowns by labor, materials, and equipment for each division and subdivision to the greatest degree possible, with lump-sum pricing for individual divisions explicitly prohibited. The pricing structure includes calculations for 6% material tax, 10% overhead, 10% profit, and 3% bond/fee, culminating in a grand total. Contractors must include the applicable VA Medical Center, proposal date, job title, project number, and solicitation number in their submissions. The instructions note that this template does not necessarily include all possible divisions needed and that contractors must provide all applicable categorical pricing similar to the example provided. This pricing schedule is a mandatory requirement for all proposals to the VA Network Contracting Office 9 - Construction as of June 30, 2016.
