About this file
This Performance Work Statement (PWS) outlines a well pump replacement project for the National Park Service (NPS) at Point Reyes National Seashore. The solicitation (RFQ no. 140P8425Q0014) requires a contractor to remove the existing pump from a 422-foot deep well (currently suspended at 315 feet) and install a new Goulds 5G50 or equivalent 2 horsepower, 230-volt pump. Additional requirements include installing a 2-inch diameter drop pipe, electrical wiring and controls, and sterilizing the well after installation.
The project is scheduled for performance between 10/06/2025 and 12/18/2025, with the contractor responsible for conforming to County of Marin Environmental Health Services Department regulations and adhering to local, state, and federal waste disposal guidelines. The NPS emphasizes environmental protection, requiring minimal construction impact and pre-approved staging areas. Contractors must submit specification sheets and manufacturer warranties to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for review and approval prior to installation.
