Attachment 2 - Sample Task One Requirements for Advanced Material Tailcone Version 2 (AMTC)

Requirements:
Manufacturing/Balancing: The Contractor shall manufacture and balance one AMTC in accordance with drawing reference (a). Surface preparation and painting requirements are provided in reference (a).
Project Management: The Contractor shall provide project management and engineering services to develop project schedules and budgets, and maintain them over the course of the Period of Performance proposed by the Contractor. The Contractor shall support project review with the Government as defined below, and provide meeting minutes and action items within three business days of each review.
Material Procurement: The Contractor shall procure the materials necessary to manufacture the AMTC in accordance with reference (a). Fasteners shall be procured according the requirements of reference (a).
Inspection: In-process and final dimensional inspections and non-destructive testing shall be performed in accordance with reference (a).
Packaging/Delivery: The finished part shall be packaged for shipping according to the requirements of reference (a). Loose items shall be labeled and packed per reference (a). The shipping container shall include a complete list of all container contents. The Contractor shall ship the completed AMTC to NSWCCD, 9500 MacArthur Blvd, West Bethesda, MD, 20817.
Deliverables:
a) One AMTC in accordance with reference (a) and within the proposed period of performance.
b) Material certification, inspection, and balancing requirements in accordance with the drawing reference (a). Advance copy of certification package shall be provided to the Government 10 days prior to government acceptance of the hardware (CDRL A007).
Reviews:
A review meeting shall be held at the manufacturer’s site at the start of the AMTC manufacturing. The meeting shall address the complete manufacturing plan and schedule.
A follow-on review meeting shall be held approximately every three months, and as necessary to support emerging issues.
