About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details janitorial services for three locations within the San Bernardino National Forest: the Supervisors Office, Front Country Ranger Station, and Big Bear Discovery Center & Mountain Top Ranger Station. The services cover approximately 73,432 total square feet across three facilities, with cleaning requirements ranging from weekly basic services to periodic six-month deep cleaning. Key cleaning tasks include maintaining floors, removing trash, cleaning entrances, disinfecting restrooms, vacuuming carpets, and performing general spot cleaning.
The contract requires the janitorial contractor to provide all cleaning supplies and equipment, with specific service schedules varying by location. The Supervisors Office requires 24/7 service, while the Front Country Ranger Station and Big Bear Discovery Center have more limited service windows on specific days and times. Additional requirements include ensuring contractor personnel can pass USDA background checks, complete required training, and adhere to strict security protocols such as securing premises after cleaning, checking locks, and turning off lights. The contractor must also provide a contract manager with at least two years of recent custodial operations management experience.
