NOTES

Since there are variations in all fired ceramic and natural products, tile and trim supplied for your particular installation may not match samples. Final confirmation should be made from actual tiles and trim prior to installation. Manufactured in accordance with ANSI A137.1 standards.

Not for use on ramps. Water, oil, grease, improper drainage and certain footwear can create slippery conditions. Floor applications expected to be exposed to these conditions require extra caution in product selection.

For additional information refer to “Factors to Consider” at:

daltile.com/Factors.

Random visuals enhance the natural beauty of this product. To achieve optimal results, all tile should be selected from multiple cartons and shading and graphic arrangement planned prior to installation.

Special consideration needs to be given when installing tiles greater than 15 inches. Please refer to daltile.com/LargeTiles for more information.

Special care should be taken when grouting with dark pigmented colors. A grout release is recommended to prevent finely powdered pigments from lodging in the pores of the surface. Use of a latex modified thin-set is recommended for installation.

Grout and Sealant Color Guidelines – Grout and sealant color samples are guides only. LATICRETE does not warrant color matching to this color chart or to any color guide produced. Actual shade and texture will depend on job site conditions, lighting, installation techniques and types/color of tile or stone used, and may vary from this grout color chart, grout color channel kits and grout color swatch on product packaging. Verify actual appearance and compatibility with a test area before installing. Blend grouts with different control numbers. Follow ANSI A108.10/Materials and Methods Standards Association (MMSA) Bulletin #9. No claims for color shade variations will be honored.

Grout Coverage Guidelines – Calculated coverage indicated is approximate, based on “nominal” tile size and is provided for purposes of estimation only. Actual coverage will vary depending on job site conditions, actual tile size and installed grout joint size. Add 10% for waste, spillage and clean-up, and another 10% – 15% when grouting unglazed quarry tile. Expanded coverage tables at www.laticrete.com/coverage.

Visit www.laticrete.com for the most current color selections.

5. INSTALLATION

Refer to SPECTRALOCK® 2000 IG How to Install Guide DS 004.5 for more information.

Surface Preparation Before starting to grout remove spacers and debris in grout joints and remove dust and dirt using a damp sponge. Allow to dry. Do not leave water standing in joints. Do not clean tiles with acid cleaners. Substrate temperature must be between 45°F (7°C) and 90°F (32°C).

Note: Temperature will affect working properties of SPECTRALOCK 2000 IG.

Warm temperatures will speed curing and shorten working time. Cool temperatures will slow curing and require longer time to traffic. Store SPECTRALOCK 2000 IG (including Part C) at 70°F (21°C) for 24 hours prior to use.

Mixing Pour SPECTRALOCK 2000 IG Part A and Part B into a clean mixing pail and mix thoroughly with a drill mixer until liquids are completely blended. Add all of the Part C powder. The mix will look thick at the beginning. Whip it thoroughly with high speed mixer (>450 rpm) until uniformly blended (Minimum 2 Minutes). This will aerate the grout to a very fluffy mix.

Application For maximum pot life, remove grout from bucket and spread on floor or plastic sheeting. Spread the grout with sharp, firm rubber grout float.

Work the grout paste into the joints. Insure the joint is filled and grout is not sitting on top. Remove excess grout from the face of the tiles with the edge of the grout float. Hold the float at 90° angle and pull it diagonally across the joints and tile to avoid pulling out the material.

Initial Cleaning – USE INITIAL WASH CLEANING ADDITIVE.

Once grout has been spread, wait approximately 30 minutes at 70°F (21°C) prior to beginning initial wash. Add Initial Wash cleaning additive to 2 gals (7.6 ℓ) of clean water and mix until fully dissolved.

Do not mix cleaning additive with grout. Wipe grout joints and tile surface with a white nylon pad and plenty of water (with the cleaning additive) using a circular motion. Drag a damp clean sponge diagonally over the scrubbed surface to remove grout residue.

Final Cleaning – USE FINAL WASH CLEANING ADDITIVE.

Wait at least 90 minutes after the initial wash at 70°F (21°C) for the final wash using the same procedure as in the initial wash. Prepare another two gallons of clean water and add the Final Wash cleaning additive and mix until fully dissolved. In the final wash avoid contact with the grout – clean tile surface only.

LOW VOLTAGE DUAL TECHNOLOGY CEILING

SENSORS

DT-300 SERIES

DESCRIPTION

The DT-300 Series Dual Technology Ceiling Sensors combine the benefits of passive infrared (PIR) and ultrasonic technologies to detect occupancy. Sensors have a flat, unobtrusive appearance and provide 360 degrees of coverage.

OPERATION

Low voltage DT-300 Series sensors utilize a Wattstopper power pack to turn lights on when both PIR and ultrasonic technologies detect occupancy. They can also work with a low voltage switch for manual-on operation. PIR technology senses motion via a change in infrared energy within the controlled area, whereas ultrasonic uses 40KHz high frequency ultrasound. Once lights are on, detection by either technology holds them on. When no occupancy is detected for the length of the time delay, lights turns off. DT-300 Series Sensors can also be set to trigger lights on when either technology or both detect occupancy, or to require both technologies to hold lighting on.

• Advanced control logic based on RISC micro-controller provides:

– Detection Signature Processing eliminates false triggers and provides immunity to RFI and EMI

– Walk-through mode turns lights off three minutes after the area is initially occupied – ideal for brief visits such as mail delivery

• Available with built-in light level sensor featuring simple, one-step setup

• Patented ultrasonic diffusion technology spreads coverage to a wider area

• LEDs indicate occupancy detection

• Sensors work with low-voltage momentary switches to provide manual control

• Uses plug terminal wiring system for quick and easy installation

• Eight occupancy logic options provide the ability to customize control to meet application needs

• Available with isolated relay for integration with BAS or

HVAC

• BAA/TAA-compliant models available

• Sensor coverage tested to NEMA Guide Publication WD 7-2000

TIME DELAY OPTIONS

The DT-300 is factory set for a 20 minute time delay, ideal for both energy savings and user satisfaction in most applications.

Installers can quickly select other fixed time delays (5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes) via DIP switches. Fixed time delays eliminate the occupant dissatisfaction associated with an automatically adjusted time delay option, and reduce callbacks. Walk-through mode may be enabled for added energy savings in spaces with frequent transient traffic.

APPLICATIONS

DT-300 Series Dual Technology Sensors have the flexibility to work in a variety of applications, where one technology alone could cause false triggers. Ideal applications include classrooms, open office spaces, large offices and computer rooms. The DT-300 Series mounting system makes them easy to install in ceiling tiles or to junction boxes, providing the flexibility to be used in a wide range of spaces.

FEATURES

Architecturally appealing low-profile appearance
