RFP No. 140R3021R0004 USBR Assessment and Repair Boulder City Campus Boulder City, Nevada

U.S. Department of Interior Bureau of Reclamation Lower Colorado Region Boulder City, NV 89006

This contract is for the accomplishment of two things. The first is the electrical assessment of the Boulder City USBR campus. This includes a review of selected facilities to determine if they meet National Electric Code (NEC), perform Arc Flash Studies, and Test items like Circuit Breakers to make sure they work as labeled. After a facility is assessed, it will include labeling of all major cables and conduits, circuit breakers, and other items needing future identification.

The second item is providing repairs to identified facilities where there is electrical circuit damage, non-code compliance, or repairs needed to increase functionality (i.e. additional circuit to accommodate appliances in the break room).

Tasks to be completed are identified as standards to be met and assessment and repairs based on those standards. Some tasks will be performed with USBR technical personnel and others will be done with USBR escorts. However, tasks will require testing by certified testers and repairs by certified electricians.

There are no Government resources provided except drawings and utilities. Some tools and test equipment will be purchased by the USBR but will be retained by USBR for future work.

Deliverables will include reports on what was assessed, the repairs made, and how identification was done. Reports will be done by facility and payment will not be made for a facility until all reports and drawings are finished for that facility. Work will be released by Task Orders and the contract length is not to exceed 5 years. Work will be inspected by USBR staff.
