Subject: 140R3021R0004 Amendment 0001, Electrical Assessment and Repair IDIQ, Questions and Answers

In response to the recent site visit held on July 14, 2021, the following questions were asked by interested parties and responses are provided as follows:

Question 1: The subject solicitation NACIS code 238210 covers “Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors”, due to the medium voltage systems present on campus and multiple sites would USBR consider changing the NAICS code to 237130 “Power and Communication Line and Related Structures Construction”? This NAICS code change will cover the 238210 scope of work where the 238210 scope of work would not normally include the medium voltage power distribution systems.

Answer: The Government has considered this request; however, the NAICS code for this action will not be changed. Often there are multiple NAICS codes that fit a requirement. Although the suggested code also fits, this acquisition will remain under 238210.

Question 2: Will the site visit sign-in sheet be made available?

Answer: Sign-in sheet attached to Amendment 0001.

If you have any questions regarding responses to the questions above, please contact Scott Pringle, Contract Specialist, at rpringle@usbr.gov, or the undersigned at aamador@usbr.gov.
