Subject: 140R3021R0004 Amendment 0004, Electrical Assessment and Repair IDIQ, Questions and Answers
In response to questions submitted via email, the following questions were asked by interested parties and responses are provided as follows:
Question 6: To what extent is Table 1 – Electrical Assessment Tasks relevant to the B.2 Price Schedule for Bldg. 100?
For example, I) Assessment Testing of Service Entrance and associated equipment includes a number of maintenance related items to include but not limited to:
1. All interior and exterior lighting shall be replaced with LED and checked for proper orientation if applicable.
2. Utilize appropriate lubrication on current carrying moving parts etc.
3. Verify that vents are clear and clean filters are in place.
4. Seal conduit openings, repair leaking seams, and the list goes on.
Answer: Table 1 lists the tasks are required to be completed under the task order, so pricing should be accounted for in B.2 Price Schedule for Bldg. 100 appropriately.
Question 7: The current timeline for Task Order #1 of 90 days and cost estimated between 100,000 and 250,000 to include updated electrical floor plans and one-line electrical drawings seems really low and tight. Is this accurate?
Answer: To the best of the Governments knowledge and estimates, 90 days is adequate time to complete the required tasks, and the IGCE is between the stated amounts for this task order effort.
Question 8: In order to prepare an accurate, updated electrical floor plan all circuits need to be traced out, and I assume you would need updated panel schedules as well. The Load Flow Studies require the circuit load as well as the length of run to determine any voltage drop issues. Is Bldg. 100 circuits already traced out? And do you need an updated panel schedule?
Answer: Bldg. 100 circuits are already traced out and there we have a panel schedule.
Contractor to verify schedule is correct.
Question 9: Would the 45 minute emergency response time for assessment or repairs be for both normal business hours and after hours?
Answer: Normal business hours.
