Any necessary work outside of the scope of repair specified in the workbooks shall be identified at the time of discovery, whether at the A&I or in-process, and will be documented in the workbook. The change of scope of repair will be submitted to the Government prior to work continuing. Signatures affixed to the workbook acknowledge the change in scope of repair. Upon acknowledgement, the WLS associated with the scope of repair shall define the total number of hours for associated repair, either after A&I or in-process. Any additional hours required above the WLS will be submitted by the contractor within one (1) business day of identification of the additional need. Requests to exceed WLS will be reviewed by the Commodity Manager/Government Site Lead and forwarded to the Government Production Scheduler before execution. The Government Production Scheduler will annotate the additional hours in SEMS under the applicable CNUM. The additional hours will be made available in SEMS at the time of CNUM completion.
