About this file
This document is a Schedule of Items/Price Schedule for federal contract 1240LU26Q0010, issued by the U.S. Forest Service for water and wastewater system improvements at two locations on the Lolo National Forest in Montana.
The contract encompasses three major work components: replacement of the water distribution system at Ninemile Ranger Station (including piping, hydrants, valves, and appurtenances); replacement of the wastewater collection system at Ninemile Ranger Station (including manholes, gravity sewer main, septic and dose tanks, and drain field installation); and replacement of the wastewater collection system at St. Regis Work Center (including similar components). Two optional items are available for exercise: installation of a water tank bypass system for Ninemile (Option Item 1) and installation of telemetry controls for the Ninemile water system. The Ninemile base items total 45 line items with quantities ranging from 1 to 5,550 units (linear feet for piping). The St. Regis base items total 13 line items with quantities ranging from 1 to 1,260 units. Option Item 1 for both locations includes 4 line items each. Contract pricing is fixed-price; contractors must submit unit costs and total item costs for all base and optional items. Bond premiums and letter of credit costs must be included under Mobilization (Pay Item 01010) and cannot be added to the contract price. The government intends one award; contractors must submit pricing for all items to be considered responsive. The project is valued between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000, with work completion required by October 1, 2027. Water and electrical service are provided at no cost; the contractor is responsible for sanitation facilities. No formal site visit is scheduled, though contractors are encouraged to visit beforehand.
