About this file
This document outlines vehicle delivery procedures for the United States Capitol Police. It provides guidelines for inspecting and delivering vehicles to various sites within the Capitol grounds complex, including the Capitol building, Capitol Visitor Center, House and Senate office buildings, Supreme Court, Library of Congress, and Botanic Garden. Delivery access points and hours of operation are specified for each location. The document also describes procedures for exceptions and after-hours deliveries, including which vehicles require inspection at the off-site delivery center versus the delivery location, notification requirements, and escort procedures depending on the time of delivery. Prohibited vehicle types are defined as those over 1 1/4 ton capacity or with more than two axles, as well as recreational and agricultural vehicles.
The related federal contract opportunity is a multi-award IDIQ for the Architect of the Capitol for unspecified services, with a notice published but no further information provided about award dates, pricing, or requirements.
