About this file
This document contains four engineering scenarios related to a federal solicitation for TH-1H Depot Level Maintenance services. The scenarios involve repairing or replacing aircraft components where proprietary technical data is restricted, including fuel cell panels, main beams, bulkheads, and service decks. For components that are damaged beyond allowable repair limits or for which replacement parts are unavailable, offerors are to describe their approach to dispositioning repairs and the engineering verification they would provide to ensure the repairs meet strength requirements, as the government may be unable to provide all drawings or stress reports due to data restrictions. The solicitation also seeks maintenance services for TH-1H aircraft and was issued by the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center located at Robins Air Force Base.

Scenario 2
The LH Engine Service Deck (P/N 205-030-280-29) has damage/delamination underneath the firewall support that exceeds allowable tech data repair limits. The Government cannot provide drawings or stress reports. How would you disposition a repair and what engineering verification would you provide to ensure the repair meets strength requirements?

Scenario 3
The Fuel Cell Bulkhead (e.g., 205-031-235-27) is damaged and a replacement part is not available The Government cannot provide drawings or stress reports. How would you disposition a repair and what engineering verification would you provide to ensure the repair meets strength requirements?

Scenario 4
The FWD Main Beam Cap (P/N 205-030-163-93) requires replacement, but the new part has insufficient edge distance for the attaching fastener holes. Describe your repair approach for proper fit into aircraft.
