About this file

This file is an attachment defining 10 project categories and their specifications for the WOOKIE MACC construction contract at Vandenberg Space Force Base. The categories cover: (1) Erosion Stabilization for landslides/sinkholes, (2) Electrical Distribution/Generation (12kV-70kV), (3) Asbestos/Hazardous Material Abatement in California, (4) Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection upgrades like blast windows and barriers, (5) General Facility Renovation, (6) Fire Suppression/Alarm Systems, (7) Electrical System Repairs/Upgrades, (8) HVAC Systems including CRAC units, (9) ICD 705 Secured Room Construction, and (10) Environmental/Cultural Projects.

Each category includes detailed technical specifications and scope limitations. For example, erosion projects must involve sinkholes at least 12 inches deep and culverts 24+ inches in diameter, with designs by registered engineers. Electrical distribution work covers lines from 12kV to 70kV and includes SCADA systems. Facility renovations encompass dormitory upgrades, seismic retrofits, and usage conversions. Environmental projects must be driven by NEPA assessments or Installation Restoration Program requirements. The definitions explicitly state what is excluded from each category, such as basic maintenance work, landscaping retaining walls under 3 feet, and standard security features.
