MEMORANDUM FOR AFLCMC/PZIBB
FROM: 88 LRS/CL
SUBJECT: Mission-Essential Functions and Essential Contractor Services for Deployments/Distribution and Vehicle Management (DDVM)
1. In order to ensure continuation of essential contractor services under all circumstances, the Base Operations aircrew/passenger support function is hereby designated as a Mission-Essential Function as defined in the clause at DFARS 252.237-7023, Continuation of Essential Contractor Services.
2. The Base Operations aircrew/passenger support function of the DDVM contract is designated as an Essential Contractor Service as well as when real world conditions dictate some, or all, contractor services be elevated to designation as Mission- Essential; examples (snow removal, hurevac support, elevated FPCONs, etc.).
3. The contractor shall be responsible for performing those services identified as essential contractor services during crisis situations as directed by the Contracting Officer.
