About this file

This memorandum outlines an affirmative procurement statement for Project DBEH 22-1578 to replace the HVAC system at facility B49904 for the Department of the Air Force Space Command. The project involves removing an existing flex duct and sealing holes in the ductwork, installing a new 2-ton mini split heat pump system on the exterior east wall with an interior wall evaporator unit from Carrier. Controls contractors will install new temperature sensors in the ducts prior to VAV-11 and reprogram the VAV and heater element controls. The project also requires replacing six Metasys building automation system controllers with new EMCS controllers on several air handlers and a VAV unit. Additionally, the memorandum requires the contractor to comply with applicable Air Force affirmative procurement policies in performing the contract work.
