About this file

This is an invitation for bid for the UT ERFO 70014(2) Santaquin Canyon Road project. The project is located in Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in Utah County, UT, approximately 4 miles south of Santaquin. Repairs are needed to address damages from a 2019 flood event. Work includes embankment construction, retaining wall construction, concrete box culvert construction, aggregate placement, and asphalt paving to restore safe passage. The principal work items are 500 cubic yards of special rock embankment, 7,000 square feet of mechanically stabilized earth wall, 1,000 tons of roadway aggregate, and 500 tons of asphalt. Construction is anticipated between July 2023 and July 2024 at an estimated cost of $5 million to $10 million. The solicitation was issued by the Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration.
