About this file
Appendix C is a Certification of Independent Price Determination document associated with the School Board of Polk County, Florida's Air Traffic Control Simulator procurement. This document is a mandatory certification form that requires offerors to affirm they have developed their pricing independently, without collusion or communication with competitors. The certification mandates that pricing has been arrived at independently, will not be disclosed to other competitors before bid opening or contract award, and that no attempts have been made to restrict competition through pricing strategies.
The certification requires the authorized signatory to confirm they are responsible for determining proposal pricing and have not participated in any actions that would compromise the integrity of the bidding process. The form provides options for individual signatories or authorized agents to certify compliance on behalf of their organization's principals. If any modifications are made to the pricing disclosure provisions, the offeror must provide a detailed written explanation of the circumstances. This document is a standard procurement compliance instrument designed to ensure fair and transparent competitive bidding practices by preventing price fixing and anti-competitive behaviors.
