About this file
Appendix C is a Certification of Independent Price Determination document for the Air Traffic Control Simulator procurement by the School Board of Polk County, Florida. This document serves as a critical component of the bidding process, requiring offerors to certify that their pricing has been determined independently, without collusion or agreement with other competitors. The certification mandates that bidders confirm their prices have been arrived at independently, will not be disclosed to other competitors before bid opening or contract award, and that no attempts have been made to restrict competition by inducing other firms to submit or withhold offers.
The certification requires each authorized signatory to confirm they are responsible for determining the proposal's prices and have not participated in any actions that would violate the independent pricing provisions. The document provides mechanisms for individual signatories and authorized agents to certify compliance, including options for representing principals who have not participated in anti-competitive actions. If any modifications are made to the pricing disclosure provisions, the offeror must provide a detailed signed statement explaining the circumstances of any price disclosure.
