About this file

This is an appendix to a federal contract detailing mission critical facilities and maintenance requirements for elevator and freight lift equipment. The contractor must provide 24/7 standby service for three pieces of mission-essential equipment: a freight lift in Building 946 (Avionics), an elevator in Building 1302 (Control Tower), and a freight lift in Building 1462 (SFS Mobility). The standby service shall be performed according to the contract's Performance Work Statement specifications to ensure minimum downtime.

The document specifies operational procedures requiring the government to identify and authorize a single appointed individual responsible for placing after-hours, weekend, and holiday emergency service calls to the contractor's emergency phone number; coordinating appointment times at the Base Entry Control Point; arranging Security Forces inspections of the maintenance technician's vehicle and equipment; escorting the technician to the facility; providing assistance during the repair; and signing the Service Report at completion for documentation purposes and contractor payment processing through the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
