About this file
This document is Appendix A - Scope of Services for consulting services related to Albert Whitted Airport Projects for the City of St. Petersburg, Florida. The comprehensive scope of services covers a wide range of professional engineering, environmental, design, and technical services for airport infrastructure and operations. The services span 33 distinct categories including studies and evaluations, technical investigations, permitting and regulatory compliance, facility planning, environmental assessments, design work, project bidding, construction services, surveying, financial services, facility security, and various professional specialty engineering disciplines.
The projects may be funded through multiple sources including the City, Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD), and other agencies. When projects involve non-City funding, they must be designed in strict conformance with the specific funding agency's requirements. The scope is extremely detailed, covering everything from airport layout plan updates and environmental impact statements to energy reduction strategies, fuel system design, financial analysis, and security evaluations. The services are intended to provide comprehensive support for airport development, maintenance, regulatory compliance, and operational improvement across multiple technical and administrative domains.
