AOC will complete renovation to kitchen, service, and seating areas to meet FDA food service requirements needed and the awarded Contractor's concept of operations for its proposed food operations. AOC will work in collaboration with the contractor to ensure all aspects of the facility operations are code compliant before soft opening.
On AOC conceptual drawing, is complete coffee station will be built by AOC?
The drawing represents the concepted space. The full tone areas of the drawing must be included in your concept. The half tone space is an AOC‐approved concept. It is expected the Awardee will submit a conceptual design with part of their proposal. Final concept will be in collaboration with the AOC and the Awardee.
Upon approval of the final design, the AOC will build and fit out the space using government funds. All aesthetic elements and smallwares are the responsiblity of the Awardee. N

Is the expectation from the AOC that we honor the prices we will provide in the Price and Portion guide based on 2023 market rates or will be be given the ablitly to adjust pricing prior to December 31, 2025?
The Awardee will utilize the BLS.gov, CPI index, Food Away from Home, to adjust pricing for 12‐month period in 2024 and then again in 2025 to commence operations. See Section B.8, Price Adjustment. N

A freight elevator is available on the loading dock for access to the Dirksen ground floor space. Use of the elevator will eliminate the need to enter current food service provider kitchen space. Y

No. AOC facilities are regulated, inspected, and permitted by the AOC Office of the Attending Physicians.
