Specific areas receiving grounds maintenance under this contract may be changed as facilities are built, facilities change, and facilities are taken out of service. Most of these tasks will be accomplished in accordance with (IAW) specified standards and frequencies during the eight (8th) month grass growing period (typically, 1 March through 31 October).
Additionally, these activities will be accomplished three (3) times during the four (4) month green waste (i.e., pine straw, leaves, pine cones, etc.) collection period occurring during the months of November through February. However, these services may also be required by the Government to be performed earlier than or extend beyond these dates depending on changes in weather and climatic conditions. If required, the contract will be modified accordingly.
