About this file

This Amendment No. 1 to an Invitation for Bid (IFB) is issued by the State of Maryland, Department of Juvenile Services (DJS), for medical laboratory services at six selected DJS facilities. The solicitation, identified as eMMA# BPM057836 and Agency Control Number 26-MULTI-FS-MS-007, seeks to procure laboratory services for young people housed at DJS-owned and operated facilities. This amendment extends the bid due date to July 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., and represents Round 3 of the bidding process. Vendors who submitted bids in previous rounds must resubmit their proposals in the final round to ensure inclusion in the bid evaluation, regardless of whether changes are made to their submissions.

No pricing terms, set-asides, incumbent information, or contract term details are specified in this amendment. The amendment serves solely to notify offerors of the extended deadline and the requirement to resubmit bids in the final round of solicitation. Interested vendors should direct clarification questions to Procurement Officer III Keon Pompey at keon.pompey1@maryland.gov. The amendment was issued on July 24, 2026.
