About this file

This document is Amendment - 1 for Solicitation/Event #EV00000709, issued by the Oklahoma Military Department for the Building 220 Bed Bug Removal project at Camp Gruber Training Site (CGTS). The amendment details a Statement of Work (SOW) for a comprehensive bed bug extermination contract, which includes heat treatment of Building 220 and the mandatory removal and disposal of approximately 198 mattresses with rips, holes, or other defects that could harbor bed bugs or their eggs. The amendment, dated May 13, 2025, is specifically related to a pre-bid meeting and walk-through, outlining the project scope and contractor responsibilities.

The project requires the contractor to perform a thorough inspection of mattresses, remove and properly dispose of damaged mattresses, and conduct heat treatment to eliminate bed bugs. The owner will facilitate the project by removing the vending machine prior to work and requesting the fire suppression system be shut down during heat treatment. While specific pricing details are not provided in this amendment, the solicitation indicates the contract will be awarded using a lowest and best value criterion, with federal funding involved and potential provisions for minority and disadvantaged business participation.
