Project Description: Motorized use is occurring on the above-identified unauthorized user-created routes causing resource damage. In particular, the Packer Creek route has a ford through Packer Creek.
To prevent future motorized access, Contractor is to effectively barricade the unauthorized user-created motorized trails at locations flagged by Forest Service; restore creek banks where creek ford has caused adverse resource damage to the riparian area; mitigate erosion concerns; de-compact the route surface as needed; establish a diverse vegetative cover on route prism consisting of transplanted trees, seeding, etc; treat noxious weeds; break up the visual impacts caused by motorized use; and install treated sign posts.
Government-furnished Supplies/Equipment: Onsite trees for transplanting and boulders from designated source. Grass seed will be furnished by the Government.
Work to be Completed: Offeror is to submit a proposed treatment. The proposal shall include a description of what types of restoration efforts would be done, the type/size/amount of equipment that would be used, staffing, materials, supplies, and a price for the proposed treatment.
