About this file

This document is an Addendum (Number Seven) issued by the State of Nebraska, specifically from the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS), for a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) Number 11165 Z6 related to Transitional Living Housing, including Mental Health Programming, for Parole clients. The original RFQ was opened on 3/28/2022 at 2:00 p.m. Central Time, and this addendum was dated 8/11/2023.

The addendum focuses on a specific section (Section III.U) addressing intimate relationships, requiring the contractor to have a written policy prohibiting intimate relationships between parole clients and the contractor's agents, employees, subcontractors, and volunteers. The document mandates that the contractor make all personnel aware of Nebraska Revised Statute § 28-322.01, which defines sexual abuse of an inmate or parolee, and requires immediate notification to the Division of Parole Supervision if any allegations of sexual abuse or contact arise.
