About this file

Addendum 4 is issued by Brevard County Purchasing Services for the Landfill Stormwater Collection & Gas System Repair & Installation project (Bid Number B-2-25-27), scheduled for bid opening on January 31, 2025, at 10:00 AM. The addendum addresses 30 specific questions from potential bidders regarding project details, including construction specifications, material requirements, equipment usage, and operational parameters. Key clarifications include confirmation that all pumps will be pneumatic powered, excavated waste can be transported directly to the working face, and no additional geotechnical testing will be required. The project involves repairs and installations for stormwater collection and gas systems at the county's landfill facility, with work to be completed during facility operating hours of 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Saturday.

The addendum provides technical specifications for various project components, such as geotextile materials (nonwoven needle-punched polypropylene fabric with 10 oz/yd2 unit weight and 100 Mils thickness) and clarifies pricing and scope details. Notably, the document indicates that line items do not include operator costs, certain appurtenances are not included in base pricing, and some potential requirements (like erosion control matting) may be conditionally applicable. The pricing structure appears to be based on typical daily repair rates, with a line item (item 50) designed to account for materials and services not specifically detailed in the original documentation. All other terms and conditions from the original bid package remain unchanged, with the bid opening date and time remaining consistent at Friday, January 31, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
