About this file
This is an addendum to Bid #26-007 for a TSPLOST Milling & Resurfacing Year 5 project. The addendum addresses three clarifications regarding the project specifications and requirements. The first clarification confirms that 135 lbs. is the correct spread rate for asphalt and that contractors should proceed with quantities as listed in the bid documents, regardless of any discrepancies with their own takeoff calculations. The second clarification addresses a specific concern regarding Gate Ridge Drive, which contains a railroad crossing, confirming that contractors must stay outside railroad limits and that RRP (Renovation, Repair, and Painting) insurance will not be required for this project.
The third clarification addresses pricing requirements, confirming that pricing for items listed with zero quantities is not required; however, contractors may choose to provide pricing for these items at their discretion. These clarifications ensure consistent interpretation of the bid specifications across all responding contractors and establish clear parameters for asphalt application rates, site constraints near railroad infrastructure, and flexible pricing submission options.

Bid#26-007 TSPLOST Milling & Resurfacing Year 5
Addendum #3
1. Please certify the 135 lbs. is the correct spread rate for the asphalt as quantities do not match the takeoff we have done for these roads. Proceed with quantities as listed.
2. Gate Ridge Dr has a railroad crossing it, will we be paving within 50 feet of the railroad tracks and if so, will we need RRP insurance? RRP insurance will not be needed as the contractor will need to stay out of railroads limits.
3. Do you still want pricing for items with zero quantity? Pricing for items with a zero quantity is not required, and is at the contractors choice if pricing for zero quantity items is listed.
