About this file

This is Addendum #3 for Bid Invitation 113-25 issued by the State of New Hampshire's Division of Procurement and Support Services, pertaining to a Passenger Transport Van procurement. The bid is due on March 5, 2025, at 11:00 AM, with the addendum providing clarifications on specific vehicle specifications. Key modifications include acceptance of a 6'4" interior height, approval of a curbside wheelchair lift that maintains the original passenger entrance, confirmation that the front passenger seat counts toward passenger capacity, and acknowledgment that front wheel well liners from Ford are acceptable.

The addendum addresses several vendor questions about technical requirements, including wheelchair loading configurations and vehicle interior specifications. Potential bidders are instructed to note any deviation from the original specifications, such as the absence of an upfitter package, in their bid submissions. The purchasing agent is Lincoln Adams, and complete bid details can be found on the New Hampshire Department of Administrative Services website. Vendors are required to submit this addendum with their bid, as the changes supersede previously submitted documents.

FOR: Passenger Transport Van

Question 9:

24.2.1.2. High roof – Maximum internal height 6 foot 9 inches: Would an interior height of 6’ 4” be enough?

State Response:

Yes, this is acceptable.

Question 10:

Wheelchair side loading, NOT rear loading: How are the ambulatory passengers entering the vehicle? Would they be riding the lift or entering through the rear of the van? Would you be interested in a proposal for a curbside lift that still leave the OEM passenger entrance open for ambulatory passengers?

If rear entrance is established; steps would need to be added. Curbside lift with OEM passenger entrance open for ambulatory is acceptable.

State Response:

Yes, we count the front passenger seat as a passenger seat.

Question 12:

24.2.1.8. Wheel Well liners: Ford only offers front wheel well liners, would this be acceptable?

State Response:

Yes, this is acceptable.

Question 13:

24.2.1.13.Uplifter package: What is an uplifter package? Is this a typo meant to be "upfitter" package? We do not need this to do the conversion.

State Response:

Yes, this was a typo and it should have read upfitter package. If an upfitter package is not needed, please note that in your bid submission.
