The bid closing date is March 5, 2025 at 11:00 AM. The addendum clarifies requirements for the van, specifically that it must accommodate either 4 passengers plus a driver for ambulatory residents, or 2 wheelchairs plus one additional passenger and a driver. The vehicle must be able to serve both ambulatory residents and those requiring wheelchair transport.

The payment terms specify that purchase orders will be paid via ACH payment, not credit card. The addendum also clarifies that the specific location of seats is flexible as long as the capacity requirements are met. ADDENDUM # 01 TO BID INVITATION 113-25

DATE AND TIME OF BID CLOSING: 3/5/2025 11:00 AM

FOR: Passenger Transport Van

Question 1:

Do the driver and passenger count in the capacity of 4?

State Response:

Yes, the driver and passenger count in the capacity of 4.

Question 2:

Regarding the rear seats, would you like double or single seats?

State Response:

The hope was that, if we use the van for ambulatory residents, we would seat up to 4 passengers, not including the driver, OR 2 wheelchairs with the ability to seat one more passenger beyond the driver. Please base you bid on this information, taking into consideration the capacity needs for ambulatory residents as well as residents in wheelchairs.

Question 3:

Will a credit card be used?

State Response:

No, a credit card will not be used. The contract would be in the form of a purchase order and purchase orders are not paid by credit card. This would be ACH payment.

Question 4:

Regarding 24.2.1.15, Can you provide a more detailed description?

State Response:

As long as NHVH is getting the capacity needed in the answer to question 2, it doesn’t matter where the seats are located.
