About this file

This is an addendum to a bid invitation issued by the New Hampshire Department of Administrative Services, Division of Procurement and Support Services, for paving and striping services at the New Hampshire Hospital located at 36 Clinton Street in Concord, New Hampshire. The addendum modifies the original bid closing date and time from August 14, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. to August 21, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time. The project scope includes complete dig-out and repaving of three existing parking lots with removal of 12 inches of existing surface, grading of excess material, installation of a 2.5-inch base layer and 1.5-inch finish layer of asphalt, asphalt curbing, and line striping. Work must be performed between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on state business days, with coordination required to minimize disruption to hospital operations and patient services. The contract term commences upon Governor and Executive Council approval through October 31, 2027, with a potential extension of up to two additional months at the state's sole discretion. Questions regarding the bid were due August 5, 2026, with state responses provided by August 12, 2026, and site visitation is strongly encouraged by contacting Don Perrin at 603-688-5159.

Bids must include a lump-sum total for all labor, materials, tools, transportation, equipment, and permits with pricing remaining firm for the entire contract period and no additional surcharges, fuel charges, or credit card fees permitted. Award will be made to the vendor meeting the request for bid criteria and providing the lowest total cost. The successful vendor must submit a Payment and Performance Bond equal to 100 percent of the contract amount and maintain insurance coverage including workers' compensation, commercial general liability of $1 million per occurrence/$2 million aggregate, and owner's and contractor's protective liability of $2 million per occurrence/$3 million aggregate. All work must comply with New Hampshire Department of Transportation standards for materials and installation methods. The vendor must guarantee all work for one year from final acceptance or the manufacturer's standard warranty period, whichever is greater, and must be registered with the State of New Hampshire and in good standing with the NH Secretary of State. Payment is made upon completion and final acceptance with invoicing on AIA forms. The purchasing agent for this bid is C. Ryan Fuller, reachable at NH.Purchasing@das.nh.gov.
