About this file

This document is a detailed set of engineering design drawings for the Harry S Truman Dam and Reservoir FY25 Roadwork Project by the US Army Corps of Engineers Kansas City District. The project involves roadwork at multiple locations, including full-depth Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) replacement, aggregate shouldering, and surface rehabilitation. The estimated quantities include 2,930 square yards of HMA replacement, 115 cubic yards of shouldering, and 3,000 linear feet of crack fill. The project site is located near the Osage Bluff Recreation Area, with work focused on improving access roads and parking areas. Key requirements include coordinating area closures 14 days in advance, using milled existing roadway as modified base material, and avoiding unauthorized tree removal. The solicitation number is W912DQ25QA016, with an issue date of 27 August 2025, and the contract will involve careful site preparation, grading, and surface treatments to maintain road infrastructure around the dam and reservoir.
