About this file
This is a procurement specification document for a County facility detailing the installation and commissioning of a compressed air compressor system. The project requires the vendor to furnish and install a complete compressor system by August 17, 2026, including mechanical assembly, connection to the existing compressed air distribution header, condensate drain line connection, and verification of all safety devices and controls. The scope encompasses factory-authorized startup and commissioning with comprehensive documentation submitted within five business days of completion, operator and maintenance training for a minimum of two hours duration, and delivery via lift-gate equipped truck with offloading and staging at the installation site. All components must pass through a 46-inch doorframe without structural building modification, with any required disassembly documented and reassembly instructions provided. The vendor must coordinate delivery access with the County at least five business days in advance.
Pricing for this procurement is all-inclusive and shall encompass the system purchase, installation labor, tools, rigging, training, commissioning, and warranties. The vendor is responsible for providing certified weight data at least ten business days before delivery, obtaining all required permits and licenses, and providing calibration certificates at vendor expense. Warranties include 24 months coverage for the compressor pump and 12 months parts and labor coverage for the complete system, both from the acceptance date. The County retains responsibility for electrical rough-in (conduit, disconnect, and branch circuit wiring), providing a level reinforced concrete floor adequate for unit weight, and completing compressed air distribution piping beyond the system outlet. An optional extended warranty coverage is available on an annual basis for years one through five at rates to be specified by the vendor.
