About this file

This is a marketplace report for the Franklin County Cooperative Health Improvement Program detailing Short Term Disability (STD) insurance claims and premium data. The report covers Experience #0157775 (Customer #0157775) and provides comprehensive coverage analysis across multiple fiscal periods: January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2024, with partial data through July 31, 2025. The report is organized by experience number and includes monthly breakdowns of employee lives covered, premium amounts billed, administrative fees, and paid claims throughout the specified timeframes.

The STD coverage demonstrates consistent growth in both participation and costs over the analyzed period. Average lives covered increased from 2,379 in 2022 to 2,856 through July 2025, while annual premiums grew from $1,523,594 in 2022 to $2,098,630 in the 2025 partial year. Annual fees paid increased proportionally from $715,682 in 2022 to $577,422 through July 2025. Paid claims fluctuated monthly but remained relatively modest compared to premium amounts, ranging from approximately $24,459 to $81,236 monthly in recent periods. The report includes detailed definitions for key metrics including claim statuses, accumulated benefits, claim reserves, and Social Security offset calculations. MetLife appears to be the claims administrator, and the data structure indicates comprehensive tracking of active claims, declined claims, pending claims, and completed claim resolutions throughout the experience period.
