About this file
This document is a Product Attestation form for New York State Invitation for Bid (IFB) 23227, specifically for Group 35205 - Body Armor, Law Enforcement. The document is designed for manufacturers to certify that their product lines meet specific National Institute of Justice (NIJ) standards for various types of protective equipment. The attestation is to be completed by the manufacturer, signed on corporate letterhead, and submitted through a contractor to New York State Procurement Services.
The document details comprehensive certification requirements for multiple body armor and protective equipment categories, including ballistic-resistant vests, special threat plates, stab-resistant vests, combination armor, bomb suits, ballistic-resistant helmets, riot helmets and visors, and other ballistic-resistant materials. Each product line must meet specific NIJ standards, such as NIJ Standard-0101.06 for ballistic resistance, NIJ Standard-0115.00 for stab resistance, and other applicable standards. Manufacturers must provide an electronic copy of their Compliance Product List (CPL) with offered models highlighted, and they must maintain current NIJ certification for products at the time of delivery. The attestation requires manufacturers to confirm their product lines meet these rigorous standards and are being offered under the New York State solicitation.
