About this file
This is Addendum No. 4 from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for solicitation DOT-RFP-25-9003-SJ regarding the FION Optical Transmission System Upgrade and Video Distribution Router Additions - Phase 4. The addendum modifies the original solicitation by replacing Exhibit C - Price Proposal Form (Rev. 02.03.2025) with a new Excel spreadsheet version (Rev. 02.21.2025) and updates page 48 of Exhibit A - Technical Specifications. The bid opening date is set for March 17, 2025 at 10:00 AM EST.
The updated technical specifications detail requirements for hardware and software technical support, including vendor-provided network engineering consultation during the warranty period and Nokia Gold technical support with Next Business Day Advanced Exchange for Nokia equipment. The specifications also outline requirements for system security upgrades without public internet access, procedures for FDOT property surplus and disposal documentation, and coordination with the FDOT Property Manager for equipment removal. Vendors must acknowledge receipt of this addendum by completing and returning it to the Procurement Office by the bid opening date to avoid disqualification.
