About this file

This document is a Bid Bond for the Savannah Airport Commission related to the Refresh Concourse "A" Doors project (RFP 2025-0036). The bid bond serves as a financial guarantee that if the bidder is awarded the contract, they will enter into a written contract within 10 calendar days and provide required payment and performance bonds and insurance. The project involves improvements to airport facilities, specifically refreshing doors in Concourse A.

The bid bond does not specify exact pricing or contract value, but requires the bidder to commit to the proposed project terms with financial accountability. The bond protects the City of Savannah and Savannah Airport Commission by ensuring the selected contractor follows through on contractual obligations or pays liquidated damages. The document allows for the bidder to be a corporation, partnership, company, or individual, and requires signatures from both the principal (bidder) and a surety company authorized to write such bonds.
