About this file

This document contains questions and responses regarding a pre-solicitation synopsis for the NASA Technical Standards System platform. The synopsis seeks proposals for implementation and support of an electronic, web-based platform providing NASA-wide access to technical standards and related information from various standards developing organizations. The platform must support a user base of 8,000 to 12,000 and accommodate necessary bandwidth for accessing and downloading standards with minimal latency. A solicitation will be issued as a request for proposals using FAR Part 12 and 15 procedures. The contract is anticipated as a firm fixed price contract with a one-year base and three one-year options. The Marshall Space Flight Center intends to release the solicitation within 30 days of the pre-solicitation posting.
