About this file

This document provides details for a federal contract opportunity to implement and support an Agency-wide electronic Technical Standards Platform for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). The platform will provide seamless access to technical standards and related information for NASA and onsite contractor users via the NASA Technical Standards System. It will deliver full-text electronic subscriptions and pay-per-document ordering of standards from selected Standards Developing Organizations. The platform will also notify users of standard changes and provide NASA documents, metadata, lessons learned, application notes, and statuses. The platform must support 8,000 to 12,000 active users and have sufficient bandwidth to access and download standards with minimal latency. The contract will be awarded as a firm fixed price contract for one base year and three option years through a Request for Proposals using FAR Part 12 and 15 procedures. The solicitation is expected to be released within 30 days.
