About this file
This document contains details of a federal contract opportunity for a Technical Standards Platform. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration is seeking proposals for the implementation and support of an agency-wide electronic, web-based platform to provide seamless access to technical standards and related information for its NASA Technical Standards System. The platform must provide full-text electronic delivery of standards from selected Standards Developing Organizations, pay-per-document ordering, notices of changes to standards, NASA documents and metadata, lessons learned, application notes, and statuses. It must also include a metrics dashboard. The platform will support 8,000 to 12,000 active users and require sufficient bandwidth to access and download standards with minimal latency. A solicitation will be issued as a request for proposals using FAR Part 12 and 15 procedures. The contract is anticipated to be a firm fixed price award with a one-year base period and three one-year options. The closing date will be within 30 days of this pre-solicitation posting on the beta.sam.gov website.
