About this file

This is a modification notice (Modification 9) to a Special Notice announcing Data Drop 2 updates to the Commercial Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Destination Contract (CLDC) Technical Library maintained by NASA's Johnson Space Center (JSC). The file itself is a compressed data package containing uncontrolled technical documentation updates related to the CLDC acquisition.

The modification notifies industry of two updated draft documents within the Data Drop 2 package: CLDP-PLN-3017_RevB r1 (Draft) and CLDP-STD-1106_Rev_Br1 (Draft). The CLDC Technical Library serves as a reference resource for potential offerors and is being updated periodically through Data Drops as NASA progresses toward a Final RFP. The acquisition itself remains on hold pending NASA's shift from a firm-fixed price contract approach to funded Space Act Agreements (SAAs) for industry design and demonstration of Commercial LEO Destinations. The Technical Library is maintained for informational purposes to keep industry informed of current NASA technical standards relevant to potential future FAR-based acquisitions, though this library is not associated with or required for compliance with other acquisition or SAA efforts. Access to export-controlled content requires a completed Export Control Request Form submitted to jsc-cldc@mail.nasa.gov, and foreign nationals may require Individual Technology Transfer Control Plans (I-TTCPs) or compliance with Programmatic Technology Transfer Control Plans (PTTCPs). Industry is directed to monitor www.sam.gov and the CLDC Acquisition Website for further updates.
