About this file

This document provides a technical library table of contents for a Rendezvous, Proximity Operations and Capture (RPOC) V contract opportunity with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Johnson Space Center. The technical library includes seventeen documents and schedules applicable to the RPOC V statement of work, such as requirements documents, engineering standards, and program documentation. It also describes the Trick simulation environment software, developed at NASA JSC, which is available on GitHub and the NASA open source software portal. An industry day will be held on January 24th, 2022 via Microsoft Teams to provide an overview of charts, and one-on-one meetings can be requested between January 25th and 27th, 2022 via Teams to discuss the opportunity with no more than three individuals representing any company and only one meeting allowed per company.

The following system description is applicable under the RPOC Statement of Work:

Trick: The Trick Simulation Environment, developed at NASA JSC, is a powerful simulation development framework that enables users to build applications for all phases of space vehicle development. Trick expedites the creation of simulations for early vehicle design, performance evaluation, flight software development, flight vehicle dynamic load analysis, and virtual/hardware in the loop training. Trick's purpose is to provide a common set of simulation capabilities that allow users to concentrate on their domain specific models, rather than simulation-specific functions like job ordering, input file processing, or data recording.

NASA uses public, open source development repositories such as GitHub to host NASA open source software releases. Trick software is available at GitHub https://github.com/nasa/trick and will soon be available through the portal for NASA open source software at https://code.nasa.gov https://github.com/nasa/trick https://code.nasa.gov/
