About this file
This document is a contract tracking template designed to record and manage purchases associated with a federal contract. The template provides a standardized format for documenting individual line items, with columns for tracking essential procurement information including the technical point of contact, part number, part description, quantity, dollar amount, and purchased date. Each entry must reference the associated Work Package, Task Order, or Task Number, along with the Commercial IT Request (CITR) IT Authorization number obtained through NASA's CITR application at https://oneplace.nasa.gov/citr.
The template includes a dropdown status field with three options: "In Work" for purchases currently being processed, "Authorized, Not Purchased" for purchases that have received authorization but have not yet been completed or initiated, and "Purchased" for completed acquisitions. The document accommodates up to 66 line items and includes detailed field instructions on page two. The dollar amount field is optional for purchases still in process, and the purchased date field tracks the timeline of procurement activities. This tracking mechanism enables contract managers to maintain visibility across all associated purchases and their respective authorization and acquisition statuses.
