About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for Task Order 2-5 under the ETIS III contract at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. The SOW outlines the integration tasks required to support the development of various systems and subsystems, including the NExIS, PACE/OCI, RST, Illuma-T, IMAP, HERMES, DAVINCI/VMS, Dragonfly, CCRS, JWST, and CODEX projects. Key requirements include mechanical design, engineering, fabrication, assembly, and verification support, as well as handling, purge system support, welding, and lab management duties. The period of performance is from October 1, 2023, to September 30, 2024. The contractor is expected to provide a management staff and structure to efficiently implement the requirements of the SOW, adhering to applicable configuration management protocols and managing schedule, cost, and technical risks.

The related federal contract opportunity is for the follow-on Environmental Test and Integration Services (ETIS) IV contract at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. The principal purpose of this contract is to acquire environmental test and integration engineering and related services for the Mechanical Systems Division and related organizations throughout GSFC, as required, for the formulation, design, development, fabrication, integration, testing, verification, and operations of space flight and ground system hardware and software. The contract is anticipated to be a Cost-Plus-Award-Fee (CPAF), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Single-Award contract with a five-year ordering period, and a potential additional 6 months. The Government anticipates releasing the Draft Request for Proposal (DRFP) in May 2024, with the final RFP release expected in late June 2024, and proposals due approximately 30 calendar days later.
