About this file
This document outlines the minimum requirements for Salt Lake County's Division of Fleet Management Bulk Fuel Supplier Pool solicitation (FLM110834-1), a follow-on procurement to expand the existing vendor pool for multiple award contracts. The County seeks qualified suppliers to provide bulk fuel (Diesel and Unleaded) for purchase and delivery to multiple County locations, with the potential for additional sites to be added during the contract term. The solicitation utilizes a periodic closing process managed through the Bonfire portal, with public notice provided one business day prior to temporary closures to allow for brief submission reviews. The County intends to utilize supplier services to ensure fuel budget compliance and provide cost-effective fuel management across designated delivery locations.
Bidders must meet all specified minimum requirements or face non-responsive bid determinations. Daily fuel pricing must be emailed to slcofleet@slco.org by 8:00 a.m. MDT and is valid only for the date received. Fuel orders will be emailed to the lowest-bid-price vendor by 10:00 a.m. MDT, with acceptance constituting a purchase agreement where the bid price must equal the invoice price per gallon. Suppliers must deliver fuel to multiple County locations by 4:00 p.m. MDT the next business day following order receipt. All invoices require accompanying bills of lading, and a designated contact person must be included on all communications. All fuel supplied must comply with governmental and industry standards and specifications in accordance with Utah State regulations.
