About this file
This is an Award Memo issued by the State of Utah Division of Purchasing and General Services for contract opportunity BD27-108 Scipio North Aerial Seeding, conducted on behalf of the Wildlife Resources department. The solicitation, issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ), sought aerial seeding services on 1,268 acres in the Scipio North area, with work to be performed between October 5th and October 22nd, 2026. The evaluation of quotes was conducted according to objective criteria outlined in the RFQ and the Utah Procurement Code, with award based on the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor. The award memo announces the intent to award a contract to a selected vendor, with the awardee identified in accompanying award documentation available on the public site under Supporting Documentation.
The awarded vendor must not commence work, purchase materials, or enter into subcontracts until both the recipient and the Division of Purchasing and General Services have executed a contract or Purchase Order. Receipt of the award notification does not constitute a contract; only an executed Purchase Order or signed contract creates a binding agreement. Awarded vendors will be contacted via phone or email regarding next steps. Vendors have seven days from the issuance of this notice to submit any written protests of the award decision to the Procurement Officer at PO Box 141061, Salt Lake City, UT 84114-1061, with protests required to clearly identify the solicitation and detail the nature of the protest.
