About this file

This document contains Affirmative Action Provisions required under Executive Order 11246 for a construction contract related to the Cascade Wells 6A and 6B Well Chlorination project in Gresham, Oregon. The project involves installing two well chlorination systems at 640 223rd Avenue. The contractor must comply with Equal Employment Opportunity requirements and meet established participation goals throughout the contract period, with employment hours distributed uniformly across all trades and projects.

The affirmative action provisions establish goals for minority participation at 4.5 percent and female participation at 6.9 percent of the contractor's aggregate workforce in each trade for all construction work performed in the covered area. These goals apply to both federally and non-federally assisted construction work within the geographical area. Contractors performing work outside the covered area must apply the established goals for those respective geographical areas. The contractor must notify the Director of the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs within 10 working days of awarding any construction subcontract exceeding $10,000, providing the subcontractor's name, address, telephone number, employer identification number, estimated dollar amount, schedule, and work location. The contractor is prohibited from transferring minority or female employees between projects solely to meet goals, and compliance will be measured against total work hours performed.
