About this file

This file contains exhibits and attachments related to a water infrastructure project for the City of Gresham involving the installation of chlorination systems at Cascade Wells 6A and 6B, located at 22514 SE Stark Street in Gresham, Oregon. The project includes site maps, detailed chlorine system design schematics for both wells, and technical specifications for equipment installation. Exhibit A presents a site map showing the location of the two cascade wells in relation to existing infrastructure, property boundaries, and nearby water and sanitary sewer lines. Exhibits B and C provide detailed chlorine system design diagrams for each well, specifying equipment configurations including pressure reducing valves, flow meters, sampling ports, and chlorine injection lines. The systems are designed to support either single well or dual well operation, with power supply requirements of 7.5 kilowatts for one well or 15 kilowatts for two wells. Both wells utilize 5-horsepower submersible re-circulation pumps, water level access tubes, and tremie pipes for injection purposes.

The file also includes completed State of Oregon Water Supply Well Reports for two existing wells associated with this project. The first report documents a well (MULT 142639) constructed for the Rockwood Water Peoples Utility District, completed on January 14, 2025, with a depth of 985 feet and static water level of approximately 345 feet. The second report covers an earlier test well (MULT 122597) completed on March 15, 2016, with a depth of 883 feet. Both reports include detailed bore hole construction logs, casing and screen specifications, well testing results, and formation descriptions. The test well formation log provides geological information from surface to approximately 883 feet depth, documenting soil and rock composition including gravels, sands, silts, clays, and cemented layers. These technical documents serve as the engineering basis and compliance documentation for the chlorination system installation project.
